Based on DLP technology, the Viewsonic Pro8520HD device delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 8000:1 as a projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
