Equipped with LCD technology, the Viewsonic PJ1173 offers 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. According to Viewsonic, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
