Based on LCD technology, the Viewsonic PJ853 device delivers 800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 300:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Looking at practical performance, up to 246 cm can be illuminated with 800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 164 cm. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
