According to Viewsonic, the V53HD model provides 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 3500000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle.
