The Viewsonic PJD5253 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2400:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary, achieving a lifespan of 6.8 years when used for 2 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 493 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 329 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
