The Viewsonic Pro9800WUL is a 3D-DLP projector offering 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
