The technical data of the Viewsonic LS500WH includes 1250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the LED lumen values. Looking at practical performance, up to 359 cm can be illuminated with 1250 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 239 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. The projector was released in 2022 and is officially no longer distributed by Viewsonic.
