The LS800WU model is a 3D-DLP projector from Viewsonic, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 at WUXGA 1920 x 1200. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 502 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (5W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
