The Viewsonic X2-4K is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector that brings 2150 ANSI lumens, a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution alongside a contrast of 3000000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 138 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2150 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 471 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 314 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars.
