The equipment of the Viewsonic PJ551 projector includes 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Viewsonic's current product range.
