A projector from Digital Projection is the E-Vision LASER WQ-120, whose Laser-DLP model delivers 2400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WQXGA 2560 x 1600 and a contrast of 2000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 427 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 285 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
