Behind the name E Vision WUXGA 8000 is a Laser-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Digital Projection, whose main features include 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2400:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 909 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 606 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
