The HIGHlite 5100gv model from Digital Projection combines DLP technology in the Stationary sector with 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Digital Projection, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This model dates back to 2003 and is no longer part of Digital Projection's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
