The Digital Projection iVision 50 Scope 1080p XL (Preliminary) is a 3D-DLP projector that brings 4000 ANSI lumens, a WQXGA 2560 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 5300:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 551 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
