As a projector, the Digital Projection TITAN sx+ 500 combines DLP technology with a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050, and is additionally specified with 6000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
