The projector Mercury HD by Digital Projection utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2800:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 406 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 271 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
