Based on DLP technology, the Digital Projection E-Vision 6500 WXGA projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 7000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2400:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 850 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 567 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
