The hardware properties of the M-Vision Laser 18K manufactured by Digital Projection include 16000 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast value of 10000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 16000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1285 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 857 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Since entering the market in 2017, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
