The HIGHlite 4000Dsxcc is a DLP projector by Digital Projection, whose specifications list 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a SXGA 1280 x 1024 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 379 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 253 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
