The basic data of the Digital Projection E-Vision Laser 8500 includes 8500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 as well as a contrast of 20000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 625 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
