The basic data of the Digital Projection Mercury 5000gv includes 4500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 as well as a contrast of 1000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 584 cm can be illuminated with 4500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2003, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
