According to JVC, the DLA RS40 model provides 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 50000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Projection Calculator is available for room planning. Looking at practical performance, up to 366 cm can be illuminated with 1300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 244 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
