The projector DLA RS35 by JVC utilizes DILA technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 70000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. According to JVC, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 305 cm can be illuminated with 900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 203 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 19 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
