Model Overview Designed for the High-End Homecinema sector, the DLA HD350 model from JVC features 1000 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast ratio of 30000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary.
An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projector Calculator.
Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported.
In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 19 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.

5 Stars Experience report in 2022
After I bought my "new" dream projector second-hand in March 2018, it was finally time to change the lamp in March 22 after more than 3700 hours

Here I unreservedly recommend the enormously high-quality Ruby lamp. The installation was absolutely problem-free.

The protective glass in front of the light channel absolutely had to be cleaned after many years.

From now on there was again a great picture full of radiance to marvel at.

On my 2m 16:9 - Gain 1.0 screen the "Normal" (Eco mode) is neatly bright.
Cinemascope masking is highly recommended.

I use a laptop as my image source, with the setting 10-bit 4:4:4 (full RGB)

(If the new lamp flickers a little, I recommend switching to high lamp mode for a few hours) then back again and everything was great, at first I thought it was due to a graphics card setting.

My favorite quote about the JVC HD 350 I would like to share with you again:

Many D-ILA fans fall in love with the natural film characteristics that such a video projector conveys

Thanks

5 Stars stable and consistent
I‘ve owned my HD350 since 2010 and it‘s a fully-fledged TV replacement for me. It now has over 14,000 hours on the clock with the fourth lamp and the picture quality has not diminished. Thanks to the builder for such a great projector, with a picture that is far better than much of what you get to see in professional cinemas. No visible pixels, no dust problems, a fantastic finish and a wonderfully analog image.

5 Stars Simply the best
This thing too loud? Nope. Much quieter than my TW 700 in Eco mode
Have seen it compared to the Mitsubishi HC 7000, Panasonic 4000,
Epson TW 5500. The only one that came close was the Epson
Once DILA - always Dila. Reasonable black levels at last. And no more fly screens. And the analog picture .

5 Stars Have it now too
I‘ve owned my HD for a few weeks now and after the initial euphoria, it‘s gradually fading. The HD is still too loud, it could be quieter. The electric LS now there the directions influence each other and there is not as much left over as hoped for, it does not achieve the flexibility of an Epson or Sanyo. In bright scenes it lacks ANSi contrast, here it can‘t even beat the much cheaper competition in some cases. Its domain is dark scenes with bright highlights, where it clearly beats the competition - but hand on heart, who only watches such scenes? It is also large and heavy and, in my opinion, far too expensive. The high native contrast in no way justifies the high purchase price. If the former price of 3999 was already clearly too high, you have to seriously ask yourself after the "adjustment" - Quo Vadis JVC? The success of JVC projectors will more than clearly decline if they do not become significantly cheaper and come with a significantly higher ANSI contrast to keep the other devices at a distance in every situation. There are quite a few people who have already resorted to a TW from Epson, as it beats the HD except for dark scenes, you almost have to say! I bought my HD for 3333 and even that price is still too high. In hindsight, I have to say that the TW offered to me for 2699 euros would have been the better deal if it wasn‘t still a tad too loud. HD 350 definitely yes - at the current price, definitely NO!

5 Stars Favorable for this performance
I looked at the HD350 and all the current LCDs at a specialist dealer!

I knew it would be the HD350 because it smears less and has a natively high contrast!

Only the Epson TW 5000 is close on its heels!

Greetings HD350

5 Stars JVC HD 350
I‘ve had the device for 2 weeks now and I‘m thrilled with what JVC has added to its predecessor
(the RS1): brightness, contrast and sharpness have visibly
increased, the operating noise has been halved.

Conclusion: one of the best pictures you can buy at the moment.
