Designed for the Homecinema sector, the DLA VS2100U model from JVC features 850 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast ratio of 20000:1. According to JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 296 cm can be illuminated with 850 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 197 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2010 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
