The hardware properties of the DLA RS56 manufactured by JVC include 1200 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast value of 90000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
