According to JVC, the DLA HD550/ model provides 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 30000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. You can choose between black and white for the housing color. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for optical image shifting. To plan the individual installation location, a look at the Distance Calculator is recommended. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 19 decibels.
