Based on DILA technology, the JVC DLA RS66 device delivers 1200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 130000:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 3000 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Distance Calculator is available for room planning. Looking at practical performance, up to 352 cm can be illuminated with 1200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 235 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
