Designed for the High-End Homecinema sector, the DLA HD100 / DLA-RS2 model from JVC features 600 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast ratio of 30000:1. According to JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Lens Shift Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 166 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 24 decibels. This model dates back to 2007 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
... that the projector didn‘t get a better rating!
I‘m incredibly impressed by the vivid picture and the natural color reproduction.
It could hardly be better - even at a distance of half a meter from the screen, the pixels can hardly be made out due to the extremely fine grid of the D-ILA technology.
Also: very flexible, great optical unit
Less nice: I think the operating noise could be a little quieter and the lamp price a little lower - (but a bargain compared to Sony projectors with almost comparable picture quality).

Great device !!!!!!
Fantastic picture properties, but it is not recommended to watch the projector just for fun somewhere, this insane picture has a considerable addictive potential !!!!!!
It is really almost impossible to be satisfied with weniger after enjoying it !

laughable
wow, apparently people rate projectors based on figures in brochures, but they haven‘t seen the projectors. there‘s no other way to explain how the hd100 gets 59 points for contrast and the epson tw2000 100 points. anyone who has seen the hd100 knows what 30 00:1 native means and what 50 00:1 dynamic means. the epson doesn‘t come close to the hd100, let alone beat it with 100:59! (even if the epson is also a very good device).
