As a projector, the JVC DLA HD950 combines DILA technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 900 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 50000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 900 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 305 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 203 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. With a value of only 19 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of JVC's current product range.
