The DLA-RS2000 model is a 3D-DILA projector from JVC, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 1900 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 80000:1 at UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160. According to JVC, the lamp has a durability of 4500 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without digital image artifacts. The Distance Calculator is available for room planning. Looking at practical performance, up to 305 cm can be illuminated with 1900 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 203 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
