The DLA SX21SH is a DILA projector by JVC, whose specifications list 1500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 800:1 and a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 1500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 225 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
