The EK-820LU model from Eiki combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 8300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 8300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 926 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 617 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2024, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
