Designed for the Short Distance sector, the LC WS250 model from Eiki features 2500 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 500:1. According to Eiki, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 106 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
