The EK-500U model from Eiki combines LCD technology in the Stationary sector with 5100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 726 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 484 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
