The hardware properties of the EK-601W manufactured by Eiki include 5500 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast value of 7200:1. According to Eiki, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 753 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 502 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
