The Eiki EIP 1000T is a LED-DLP projector that brings 1000 ANSI lumens, a WVGA 854 x 480 resolution alongside a contrast of 2500:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. The projector was released in 2005 and is officially no longer distributed by Eiki. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.

I‘ve had the Eiki EIP 1000T for a good year now and I‘m extremely happy.
It offers unbeatable value for money if you watch DVDs and DivX (I bought it for 400 SFr when it was new). The resolution is also optimal for the Wii. Better resolution is only needed for HD material and photos. Contrast and black level are great! My recommendation to buy.
