The LC XNB4M is a LCD projector by Eiki, whose specifications list 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2002 and is no longer part of Eiki's current product range.

I have recently had a small problem with my Eiki LC XNB4M.
After switching on (approx. 45 sec) it switches to standby mode.
The Ready lamp goes out and the LAMP lamp is then lit bright red. After a certain time (60 - 90 sec) the READY lamp lights up again and the projector can be switched on again as described at the beginning...
No other indicator lights light up.
No new noises can be detected.
I have already cleaned the device after the problem occurred.
