The basic data of the Eiki EK-450U includes 6600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 as well as a contrast of 30000:1. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 825 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 550 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
