Based on DILA technology, the JVC DLA RS45 projects images in a High-End Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 366 cm can be illuminated with 1300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 244 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 20 decibels. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by JVC.
