Hey Karl & Stefan, nice writing and keep up the good work! We only buy good things :-)
About the fan noise I can only say that it doesn‘t bother at all, you don‘t have to let the device run at 100% as Karl already wrote. You throw in the Eco Mode 1. the expensive bulb lasts longer 2. what the device darkens slightly in Eco Mode can be compensated for in the settings with contrast and brightness. I‘m simply amazed at what this device can do, my grandson plays with his PC on it and I watch the local TV series. For the purchase price of almost 1800€ at the time, it really is a top-class device that comes highly recommended. I will continue to use it for a few more years, nowadays everyone wants 3D projectors with HDMI input and Pfirlepfanz, but what should I do with it? And Ewig singen die Wälder is not available in 3D. A little joke on the side. So if you want to buy a really good beginner‘s device and get it for around € 1.00-300.00, you should go for it. The bulbs can be ordered as Stefan writes for little money in the States or China but you just have the risk if it should be defective by the flight which can happen but does not have to happen and you have to run again but always cheaper than here still over 250,00 € for it, my pension is too bad for me.

Where he‘s right, he‘s right
I can only agree with Stefan, it‘s a great device and not difficult to use. I only run the projector on Eco Mode 1. the bulb lasts longer 2. hardly a big difference to 100% performance except the noise that the fan makes at 100% is not quite so plump but clean HD image projection at the settings 1035i and 1085i
I use the device exclusively as a home theater and can only give people the TIP to buy this device, zurnot also used always a good investment. Keep it up Viewsonic 5 stars

Super device
Very nice device great equipment, I project on a wall with the dimensions 210cm by 200cm simply razor sharp and very nice colors. Well for a projector that is a good 9 years old a super performance only the purchase of the replacement bulb is Germany is very expensive. I bought the bulb in the United States for a mere €58.00 and here the sellers want well over €250.00
