Behind the name DS23DAA is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Vivitek, whose main features include 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Vivitek, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 3500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 515 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 343 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 30 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
