The basic data of the Vivitek DH83CAA includes 4200 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 15000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 658 cm can be illuminated with 4200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 439 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
