The projector D5000V by Vivitek utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 628 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 419 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
