The projector DH772UST by Vivitek utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 66 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 601 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 401 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
