Based on DLP technology, the Vivitek H9030FD device delivers 1000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 50000:1 as a projector. Thanks to LED technology, the projector is rated for a lifespan of up to 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 36 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Vivitek.
