The DU8193Z is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Vivitek, whose specifications list 12000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 12000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1113 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 742 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
