The projector D8300ST by Vivitek utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 6500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 546 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
