The equipment of the Sanyo PLC XU47 projector includes 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 with a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Sanyo's current product range.

Class high-end device
A beamer as it stands in the book, simply great workmanship and with its 3 LCD TFT panels it pops a fabulous cinema picture on the wall.
Before I bought this device I informed myself about it, there were no negative opinions about it so I bought it and was not disappointed.
Pin-sharp images via PC and DVD player with Video-S socket, even PC games like Crysis 3 etc. has mastered the device without any color loss or the like. However, the device has one drawback; the bulbs with cage are somewhat expensive at just under €200.00, but you can also just buy the bulb without the cage and install it in the cage yourself, which is neither difficult nor expensive. The bulb without the cage costs around 120.00 - 150.00€ depending on the manufacturer at > Lampe.EU.<
I can only warmly recommend this device to everyone - fun for young and old and if you get the device for less than 400.00€ buy it immediately

Hello Eric, you should download the German operating instructions here and read page 60, it says exactly what you have to do to show this logo or display your own pictures!
To the beamer, great device good equipment unfortunately there was not yet the device with HDMI connection because this came out only and probably not yet matured for it or Sanyo saw itself unable to install this here. the bulbs are very expensive in Germany despite the already over 7 years old device, there helps only replacement from abroad for almost half the money !!!
