Known as the PLC XP50E, this LCD projector by Sanyo features basic specs of 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 750:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 349 cm. The projector was released in 2003 and is officially no longer distributed by Sanyo.
